Lead Pastor

Pastor Gary’s passion is to see lives transformed by a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He believes that it is imperative that we not only learn the truth of God’s Word but to live it out as well. A graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Pastor Gary was installed as only the seventh senior pastor in CBC's history in January of 2016.

He is also a musician, songwriter, and arranger who loves a wide variety of music. In addition to the Scriptures, he enjoys writings of A.W. Tozer and C.S. Lewis, and has a love/hate relationship with the game of golf.

Pastor Gary's wife, Jan, has ministered to children for decades as a school secretary, Sunday School teacher, and leader for AWANA and VBS. She loves to introduce people to Jesus Christ wherever and whenever she can, so for many years she served as an internet evangelist with peacewithgod.net.
