Children are Close to God's Heart.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." (Luke 18:16)

At Central, we know that God has ordained the family to have the primary responsibility for the spiritual health and growth of children. His loving ideal is for one man and one woman to remain faithfully married for life and to devote themselves to raising godly offspring. (see Malachi 2:14-16) The self-sacrifice and commitment necessary to be successful requires a wholehearted commitment to God and His Word empowered by the work of the Holy Spirit in each parent's life.

Unfortunately, we live in a fallen world full of broken people and sometimes we fall short of God's ideal. Often this leads to difficult situations like broken families, blended families and single-parent families. But Jesus Christ offers everyone the promise of forgiveness and healing through a personal relationship with Him (click here for more information). As we learn and grow by the power of His Holy Spirit we are enabled to forgive, heal and become more like Jesus which is what all our relationships need most.

Central Bible Church exists to teach and affirm these truths and to encourage all parents in their quest to become Christ-like role models so that they may:

"Train up a children in the way they should go [teaching them to seek God's wisdom and will for their abilities and talents], even when they are old they will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 Amp.)
